#284Seems likely. Imagine the number of angry volatile people if they basically had their money stolen from them. Ridiculous situation to have happened in the first place. The U.S. (government) has some very backward thinking for a supposedly progressive country.Comment -

#286Fck the fbi, f\*\*k the goverment
All they want to do is stick it to the poor, low class, low mid, mid class and even some upper mid.
All these guys that have 4 houses, 8 cars and millions will do whatever it takes to keep what they got and screw whoever it takes to get it.
I admit ub, and other poker and gambling sites do commit fraud and some of them need to receive a penalty but blocking the average joe from playing,, depositing or withdrawing is sick.
My cousin who works in the firm, with the attorneys that were on the bonds case told me just yesterday, that from the time they woke up till they went to bed. Only thing on their minds is, " what can we do to put bonds in jail and what can we do to make us money, and who can we sue next"
Next thing you know sbr casino will be blocked, but that might be a good thingComment -

Also, Partygaming surged almost 3% out of nowhere as hints of this came out at end of trading today. If your broker offers options on UK/IRL investing get on it and make some serious cash Monday.Comment -

#302Bank accounts were seized. Don't try to cash checks that you have but didn't deposit/cash from Stars and FTP. I would worry a little bit if I was a UK player because of the $3billion that the government is trying to get. I think there will be a settlement, but half of that might still a lot for these companies. The cost of this process could affect the solvency of the companies. On the bright side, they do have incentive to pay the US players.
75 accounts were seized?? That's a lot. If the government winds up seizing the players funds, it will be a black eye if they don't return them to the players.Comment -

#304Got $22 at Absolute Poker, time to run it up to over the minimum $50 withdrawal amount or bust. Most likely the latter will happen.
Already cashed out $2500 from BetJam and 5 figs from Pinny and paid via Moneybookers today.Comment -

#310Worst part in the whole indictment. You can't play if you can't get money in or out. No one is going to want to process payments for US customers now that the Feds are involved.
The timing is impeccable, with two states already passing internet gaming laws. How long before the Government decides they want the sportsbook business too?
I'm a pessimist by nature so don't take this too harshly but to me this means the end of online sportsbetting for US residents. There will be a run on the bank at every online sports book and processors will be impossible to find now. Again I am no expert so somebody correct me. I hope I am completely wrong.Comment -

#314Okay, if they have only seized the domain names, can't the companies just change the name and carry on? Can they touch any revenue generated outside the United States? Very confusing as I'm not knowledgeable about these things.Comment
