Question for those in the US who have gotten their money from MB: Did any of you have an open futures position? I have not gotten my wire yet, and I am wondering if anyone who has an open futures position will have to wait until June and then have to do the "Antiguan Regulator" process.

My strong suspicion is that MB, having intended to make a fair settlement on futures bets, had decided to clear all other accounts first and then do that before paying out those holding futures bets.

However, it seems that their legal advice has been not to pay out the futures but to hand them over to the local authority to settle in due course.

One would hope that the cash balances of those players will now be settled by MB rather than they also being forwarded to the Antiguan authority.

Surely it's not fair that players be disadvantaged for having held futures bets at the time of change of ownership ?

I would expect they will do the right thing.

Then you're not paying attention. Take a look at the NCAA tournament "Market" Non-existent. I played there for many years and I know that these were markets were lively the night before the tourney began. Maybe there is liquidity on non-american sports, but it is dead for american sports.

The comparison I was making was in relation to pro US sports. The markets are just as liquid now as before 28 Feb. I'm getting my offers matched every day at better odds than Pinnacle has on offer. Nothing's changed. Long live Matchbook.

requested the withdrawal on the Monday after they left the market (the next day). emailed them last Monday and they said i should get it by the end of the week and let them know otherwise. on about Wednesday they sent out a generic email stating some delays. on Friday when i told them i still have not received the withdrawal, they tell me
