so i bought it online with my CC and went to pick it up at best buy today. im waiting on line for 30 min scratching my balls when finally the woman hands me the box and i walk towards the entrance. i was in a rush to get the ** before 8 pm so i did not inspect computer box to make sure it was the right one. now best buy is sharp b/c they have a security guard who checks every purchase that walks out the door

the guard checked my package and the receipt SKU must match the product SKU. so the guy tells me i have the wrong computer. i had this model in my hands which was $549 instead.

i am a bit annoyed b/c they were holding me up and i was in a rush to send $900 to my good friend Juan Ricardo Espinosa in the Manila, Phillipines. early christmas present.

so now the guys says he can not find the model i ordered. i start bugging out saying "WTF i waited on line for an hour for nothing??" i think as an sbr pro i deserve better treatment than this. so the manager caves in and says i can have the $549 model instead, basically giving me a free upgrade.

fukkin score!

Not bullshitting, but my brother had the same thing happen to him last year with another ASUS laptop. The only difference was that the security guy didn't notice. I noticed when he got home when he had 1GB video card, when he was supposed to have a shitty integrated video card. I found out a lot of the ASUS laptops have similar model numbers/SKU numbers, so easy for them to mistake them when you do in-store pickup. I think the runners that grab the in-store pickup stuff cover the whole store, so I would guess they don't know a lot about whatever product they're grabbing.

stealthy i went there 2 days before christmas. the store was packed. the staff was going crazy trying to process all these purchases, orders and transactions. they also messed up b/c they did not have the right labtop, even when they e-mailed me and said it was ready to be picked up. i was hoping by complaining that he would give me some kind of perk, like maybe a nice lazer mouse.

i always try to get more than i deserve from these huge corporations. i get rejected a lot too but that's fine with me
