organized chaos.
mayhem.
if shi.tt gets bad you fear for your life.
what a rivalry, not a huge soccer fan but this game was truly insane.

Elland Road Stadium.....Many, many years ago when Leeds United were actually a team to be reckoned with.....Quite honestly, an atmosphere which I can't even begin to describe.....

i know every country has crazy soccer fans but until you go see one of these games live, you simply do not know what the fu.ck goes on in these places.
when i went, it was no bulls.hit, just like these images i googled.
you could not even see the playing field from the smoke and these photos dont even do what i saw justice.
its not uncommen for them to stop the game till the smoke clears.
also the have this section called GATE 7 where 21 supporters died from being stampeeded over in '81.
anyway, guys ,all i can say is the electricity there is something ive never experienced before in my life. awesome time.

I have been there in a Tigers uniform in the bleachers in the same row as the bleacher creatures. They are cock suckers. I had a few kicked out. When Sheffield was up to bat, I was the only fukk standing cheering for him. Fukk the Wankees.

Gillette Stadium...but I've only been there and the Garden...and that was back when the Celtics sucked and no one cared. So yeah, Gillette wins....but I have a feeling the atmosphere at Fenway is more intense.

A supplier took me up on one of those suites at lambeau in 2005 when the Pack played Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh won and covered with the under cashing in as well.
When I came home and told the old lady who is a die hard Pittsburgh fan, she nearly beat me silly, that is the most jealous that I have ever seen her.

Oakland Coliseum when the Raiders were good. The crowd would go crazy on every play. Madison Square Garden way back in the 1980's was as wild a place as I've seen for a Ranger game. The fans would do a standing O during the entire anthem, and I once saw them throw dead fish at Long Island's goalie (that's a mafia warning sign) while he ducked into his cage.

I'm going to put myself in a crowd of one and cast a vote for the old Astrodome, especially during the Luv Ya' Blue years with the Oilers and the 1980 NLCS between the 'Stros and Philthies.
The atmosphere at Neyland in Knoxville is a neat experience. Been there twice, both times with the Vols hosting Kentucky. Knoxville's just a nice little town altogether.
I'd probably throw The Big House on the list somewhere if it wasn't for the ass-whipping the Wolverines laid on my beloved Aggies my only trip there in 1977.
The first time I went to both Yankee Stadium and Fenway Park were semi-religious experiences. Oldtimers Day in the Bronx is a tough experience to beat.
Among the newer baseball parks, as much bias as I have for the Astros, the best of the new parks is PNC in Pittsburgh. Very intimate setting real easy for a visitor to stay downtown and walk to the game, and I don't think I've ever been treated so well as the 'opposition' as I was in Pittsburgh which, as an added bonus, is a very cheap town to drink in.
But my final answer, my most favorite stadium of them all, was old Tiger Stadium in Detroit. Only got to it on a couple of occasions, in the late 70s and then its final season in 1999, and there was just something about it that made it easy to be wander back in time in my mind.

I loved that place too, got there in 1999 just in time and loved the old-time feel. Not many ballparks have the combination of intimacy, looks, and the sense of history you get at a place like that. I guess Wrigley and Fenway would be the last 2 ballparks that maintain all those qualities.

Tough call. I had the most fun at Milwaukee County Stadium growing up, though.
I'd have to say nothing touches Madison Square Garden.
You can smell a big game at MSG from blocks away.
When there's a big game - or the Big East Tourney is in town, it's 2nd to none in all facets. It's just such an electric atmosphere. I'm sure it ain't so great now - as it does have a lot to do with how the Knicks are doing.
As for the worst? Fenway hands down. Even worse than the old Comisky, worse than Shey Stadium. Bullshit prices, smells like rat piss. Horrible sight lines from the seats. Jerkoff fans chanting 'yankees suck'. Parking? Laff. Red Sox fans can have their shizhole, it's horrible. It does fit in with their 'woe is me' attitude. I wonder how many rings they need to turn that around.

Sanford Stadium. Home to the 2008 college football champions the Georgia Bulldawgs. 4th largest in the country but by far the bestest.
Notice the ole rail tracks to the right where I have done more drugs and drank more alcohol than any man, woman, or child ever has anywhere.

I've been just about everywhere in the SEC, and would regrettably agree that Bryant Denny is the best stadium in the conference. You can literally feel the history there (similar to Oklahoma).
Neyland's big, but it's REALLY cramped and doesn't have the history of Alabama. I would say the most underrated place to watch a game in conference is Williams-Bryce Stadium at South Carolina, although it's located a few miles from campus. Auburn's Jordan-Hare is quite nice and underrated as well. The two biggest asshole contingents in conference are LSU and Florida, bar none. LSU has an atrocious academic ranking and academic reputation, and a contingent of ignorant Cajuns on Saturdays doesn't help their cause....

Yankee and Fenway are something special (I prefer Fenway). A day game at Wrigley is a really unique experience as well, with more polite fans and a more laid back atmosphere (although I've always been more of a Sox fan)...
Another really cool experience is Daytona. I couldn't have cared less about Nascar prior to going, but once you're there it is an absolute blast. A quarter of a million fans going nuts for an entire weekend, riding a school bus into and out of the stadium drinking and smoking the whole time, etc.

Im a Phillies fan and attend about 30 of their games per year. Both Philly's stadiums are very underrrated. Citizens bank park and the linc are really nice places to play.
I also attend about 10 Yankees games per year and really enjoy going up there. It's always alot of fun going up to Yankee Stadium.
