      Need a lot more information bud. What is your operating system, how old is the computer etc.

      And my gosh don't go near MyCleanPC.

        Your problem was the Processor was too hot. Your fan wasn't doing it's job after the years. I have that on the current computer I'm on. I have the side off with a regular, small fan keeping it cool. Sure, it "could" have been those yes, but don't go back to that shop

          THIS!!!!!!!!! MBAM: Malwarebytes' anti-malware. Google it and download it straight from the site or go to CNET.com and go find it in the downloads section. You probably got some malware or some other crap that is slowing down your PC. You'll be surprised the amount of crap MBAM will find on your computer, especially if you've been going without anti-virus. After you do this, get anti-virus(Microsoft has a free one called Microsoft essentials that is alright and there are plenty of good free ones which you can find at cnet.com if you don't want to pay for one). Or as a happy Mac user that hasn't gotten a single virus or any type of malware, invest in a Mac (yes, I'm a bit of a Apple fanboy)
