exactly which is why I said 2 dimes and not eight, everyones getting real into the car instead of the question of how to get rid of the car, I dont wanna make the payents and I dont want to drive it to california, just thought I would get some suggestions out of a knowledgable group of people.... guess everyones just gonna bash me and the car.

The only legit option is the self-explanitory one. Find a private buyer who is willing to pay the cost of your loan plus what you want to pocket extra. There's no magical trick outside of fraud.

thats the thing driving there costs 500 in gas and you gotta stay in at least 2-3 hotels and eat 10 times and pay tolls and such it all ends up being like a dime which I dont have, when a train ticket to get out there is like 310.

its not what I want but cali is the only place where I can live, I have til the end of the month to get there, I lost my job and I have no money to drive there or I would, I tried getting loans just for the money to get out there but I have bad credit and no income. the last few months have flipped my life upside down and my only support system in in cali. but they cant afford to get me a ticket out.

Car is probably worth what owed or likely less....no equity in it ( IMO).

It's a liability, not an asset ( IMO)

How did you get this loan ?

keep it if you can afford it, you'll still need a car, won't you ?

It stings letting go of the 1,800 I just put down on it a few months ago when I had a good job, I could of used that money to get out there in style but you live and learn I guess, Maybe if I can find someone who wants to go and split the costs I can take the car and if I find a job there quick I can get on a payment plan.
