SEC is down this year that is for sure. Big 10 and Pac 10 are up. Mountain West is maybe down a little. All other conferences are crap

the SEC has been far and away the best conference for awhile. the fact that they're closer to the pack this season (and arguably, the Big Ten has pulled even) doesn't make them horrible. it underscores how good they've been for how long. and i'm no SEC fan.

i do love the comment that Michigan would be 2-10 in the SEC, as if they wouldn't still be 4-0 out of conference simply by virtue of changing their conference affiliation. i guess they'd have lost to UConn and ND because they were in the SEC? and i despise Michigan.

Even in a down year, SEC is still the best conference in the country, and I would not say the Big 12 has pulled even either. Outside of Nebraska, there is not much defense in the Big 12.

The PAC 10 is up? Are talking about the same USC team that couldn't stop Virginia, Hawaii, etc? Cal got it's ass handed to it by Nevada. Oregon is good, but with the way Standford barely beat USC Stanford was clearly overrated.

No one loss team is going to jump an undefeated team. The SEC West is very good. The SEC East is not so good. LSU gets a walk over next week in McNeese St, but then goes to Auburn and hosts Alabama after a bye week. They also finish the season at Arkansas. Auburn hosts Arkansas next week and then LSU the following week. They finish at Alabama. There is still a lot of football to be played. As far as the East is concerned, South CArlina still must face Arkansas at home and go to Florida on back to back weeks.

The SEC is horrible? Based on the fact that SEC teams lost to other SEC teams? We could have this argument if an SEC team just travelled to face a non conference game and got beat. Oh wait. An SEC team did travel to play a non conference game....Ark beat TAMU in Texas and Miss State beat Houston. Vandy killed someone too but we wont count that.

SC, Auburn and Arky are all way up this year and LSU and Bama are both top 10 teams.

There isn't one conference that comes close to the depth that the SEC has. B10 is OSU and the rest. P10 is better but look at Arizona last night. So Carolina >>>>>> Oregon State

SEC is the king and nobody is even close, not when it comes to college football. Last four years in a row and this will make 5 straight National Championships. The only way a conference other than the SEC wins is if they don't get a team in there. They've probably got 6 of the top 15 teams in the nation playing in one conference, it's clear domination.
