Boise wouldn't have a team left if they played that sort of physical ball every week. Come on guys, when it comes to surfing, darts, skateboarding etc... maybe the PAC 10 and other conferences are close, when it comes to football the only race is for 2nd place.

Ha. typical SEC homer. Average Iowa teams are 3-1 against SEC powerhouses this past decade. SEC is so horribly overrated. South Carolina is the top SEC team???

Nobody can be that dumb. The hatred for the SEC is natural, you always hate the best. I hated the Bulls when Jordan was in his prime. The weak conferences (and their fans) are supposed to hate the SEC, nobody will blame you for that, just don't expect any real football fan to take you seriously. Just saw even with an obvious west coast bias in the media the AP has the SEC taking up 5 of the top 12 spots in the poll. Like the last 4 consecutive titles, this speaks volumes as well, pure dominance again in 2010.

According to SEC homers, yes. But not just Oregon, if you took the top teams from any conference and put them in the SEC, they would only play .500 ball. That is why it is so hard to take their claims of superiority seriously.

Did I see a graphic on ESPN Sunday that said every team Bama will play for the rest of the season will be coming off a Bye week (and that included SC on Saturday)? How could the SEC allow something like that happen (though I know the Georgia State game is basically a bye before the Tide plays Auburn)?

sec is unpredicable against other conferences yes
But no team short of Oregon could play in the sec this year short of 2 losses
Colorado knows it -hell they ran on the field on a 1-4 georgia team
that now seems to have things going - if thats your comparison
ok Tenn got waxed by oregon and georgia got waxed by Colorado
now beat Lsu / Florida /Alabama /Auburn and throw in a Arkansas and a Missisippi State
Colorado maybe 2-6 Oregon maybe 6-1 more than likely 5-2

See playing in the Sec playing in more than one game

that was pointed out to the head of the conference prior to the start of this season. He said they will try and make sure that doesn't happen again.

how they are a crap conference? alabama florida south carolina??? yeah florida isnt havin a good year but they usually do and alabama is still good they are national champs? south carolina is also having a great yeaer. georgia is turning it around now
