i agree that they make much better runningbacks and basketball players than white guys but they've had plenty of time and way more than enough opportunities and failed over and over again playing quarterback GMs are starting to wise up the only way to win a superbowl is with a white quarterback

Not so much grooming. A little, though. I just remembered out of all my friends, you could split positions by race. LOL!!! White boys liked point guard and QB. I think that I grew up in more diverse communities than anyone on this board. Air Force military bases. It's just how it was. Also, if you check all of the predominantly black communities, there's basketball courts everywhere. Practice makes perfect. Hell, that's my favorite sport and the one that I'm the best at. If only there was a tennis court around when I was growing up...

All QB's must be intelligent unless they're naturally gifted. I dunno Vick's IQ. Can he read the field as good as Peyton? Prolly not. It doesn't matter. He's quick as shyt. He was getting the job done, just in his own way. Most black athletes may come from poor neighborhoods with minimum education, I never looked into it. They have to do what they have to do to get out of the situation. There is only so many resources in their community. I'd bet most black lawyers, accountants, doctors, etc. come from middle class or wealthy families. Hmmmm I wonder why? Maybe it's because they don't have time to slam dunk or brush up on their killer crossover while studying for BAR exams of med school stuff. What kind of neighborhood and education do you think those white linebackers and Nascar drivers had coming up? LOL!!!

That is by far the dumbest post I have seen in this forum. Race issues aside, any sports fan knows that Vick is not a dropback qb but is by faaaaaaaaaaar the best mobile qb the NFL has ever seen. He may not throw as well as Couch, but his ability to move the ball downfield is far superior to Couch and most other qb's at that.
