I can't believe the refs didn't pull that offensive pass interference on White in the end, and together with that doubtful catch it was pretty obvious that the refs was on Atlantas side. They also gave Baltimore a penalty for pulling the helmet, but the Atlanta player did it equally mcuh!! Time to change the rules so you can challenge in the last 2 minutes?? Atlanta shouldn't have had that last TD, but the refs gave it to them.

1. You can't challenge pass interference calls.

2. You can't challenge facemask or holding calls.

The facemask call could have gone either way. Chalk that up to moving the umpire from the defensive side to the offensive side. All a matter of perspective there.


As for the catch, possession starts at contact. If he decides to pull it in, he can do that, and can do that after going out of bounds. As long as the ball does not bobble, or go from hand to hand, its a catch. Look at Moss' TD catch against the Jets early season. Caught with his fingertips, got feet in, then out of bounds brought it towards his body. Clear cut catch.

As for the offensive pass interference, White himself said that the BAL player was holding him, he was just breaking free. The BAL was also beat by a sheer speed perspective. Then the falling down part appears as though he was off balance because he was grabbing White. An NFL player should not be able to be pushed down by a single hand that was not making a clear cut "big" push. He was off balance and fell due to it. Refs saw exactly that. Also, holding, grabbing, and pushing like that play happened in 80% of passing plays.

I had Ravens in a 7 pt teaser, so I have no dog in this fight (I would have won either way). I was truly surprised by the catch, but after seeing it on replay, I don't see how they could overturn it. It's not like he was bobbling the ball as he was going out of bounds. The push off on the other hand was blatant. The ref clearly just missed the call. I always say this, the refs are part of the game. They will make mistakes, for or against.

This is bull really, With a 99% injury rate on the line in the NFL, there is way too much at stake to be playing setups. This would be like saying the UFC is rigged. I can see a team or 2 taking it easy in hopes of a better draft and schedule the following season but other then that, these guys got way too much on the line.
