    Having your own Business...
As a machinist....Gotta love the days when your container is full of scrap and you take it in for cash....470 bucks for a 5X5 foot cube of stainless steel turnings. Got 2 more cubes to take in, but not today, as I came back, and saw 2 nice orders faxed over for 4600, and all of that stuff I have in stock, on the shelf.

nice.....i love it when a take a load to some butt fu(k place like Nogales, AZ. I just assume I'll be heading back to the port in San Diego empty, then a dealer calls and needs some cars sent to SoCal for a trade. Free $$$$ to drive back to the pad.

You got to love a machinist who is so busy at work and finds 10 hrs to post a day at an online gambling forum.

Yep it's tough life....Push go on the machine, and sit down for 3 minutes, take the part out, press go again.

Sometimes when I have to program, or pay attention to the part I'm running I don't get the chance to sit down, but normally I do. Especially these last 2 weeks while I've been running large orders of small easy things.

Been running a stock order of these the past 2 weeks, 2 different sizes. They require you to pay no attention, except listening to see if a tool insert is going dull.

                      That is good for you.
Nothing easy about owning your own business these days.
It is nice when things fall into place once in a while.

When things are going good...it's awesome.

When things are looking bad...It's Really bad. About 2 years ago, I just sat at work not doing a damn thing, no one needed work done, tried going to other business to see if they needed help, the shit was down in the dump. But since then we've been averaging some pretty good numbers with 2 months ago being one of the best months in the 5.5 years of business.
