Anyone know the law for someone working on a house? My neighbors have been beating on the walls since 9 o clock this morning. How late can they work?

They can work as late
and as long as they want too .Unless the neighborhood had a noise ordinace Charter you are screwed.

We can call the police here under the noise ordinance after 10pm. Hopefully he goes to sleep.

It would be governed by city, town, etc ordinances. Alot of times the police are oblivious to what these entail.

It depends on the town ordinance... In my town/city it states that you can begin work at 7 am and have to be done at 10pm...

My neighbors did not like me mowing my lawn at 7:30 one morning... Nothing they could do about it.
