Mods Turning Their Heads

i don't read anything about posters being upset at all the newbies that constantly start threads like "will my credit card work at here or there?", "whats the best book?", "what about moneygram?", etc., etc.
that what this website was started for, i think, was to give that info about rating of books and contact info for people to look it up for themselves.
my suggestion is to allow posters to start a topic in "players talk" about whatever they want as long as its not about a certain sport, if its about NFL, start your thread in there, if its about NHL, start it in there.
i would also like to see a "welcome new posters" section at the very top, and have it say please read the rules(if there are any) before you start a topic. and ask/remind people to use the search feature for topics that could answer their questions before starting a new thread.

I think this would help a lot. If you have a welcome thread emphasizing the search function and maybe instructing what each forum is for it would help the flow.

The players talk section should be open to whatever, if you are interested in particular sports betting then the thread should be under the appropriate sport anyway.

one last thing....the search function is everyones friend.

Don't you guys see a pattern here? "Mods" are lumped in to fit whatever category would support your argument better. Fact is, we can post pretty much anything we want here so long as it's not a personal attack against someone. That's a good thing.. Does it mean sometimes crappy threads will get overdone without being moved, probably but that's what comes with freedom lol...

Mods should have a darn good reason to tamper with any thread including moving them.

If they are moved because they are vulgar Id rather they remain in the main forum and have the vulgar part edited. But thats me. If a guy wants his thread in the Private Forum he'd of put it there in the first place. So dont move them!

On a positive note, SBR runs a great contest. Just received my check yesterday. 4 days for a check to come, when the contest ended on Tuesday day is great time. SBR should open their own book, they'd be quicker on payment then most of the bums out there. Thanks again SBR.

I wasnt happy that your golf club thread was moved. But someone reported it as racisit with the Chink word or something similiar. If you just must go there then they will be moved although I wish the mods would just take those words out but thats just too much to ask from them. The forum is too busy to edit out racisit comments.
