Playing 7 stud for 25 cents a flip in the 9th grade.
I still like NLHE but taught myself Omaha and O8 ten years ago.
Omaha is where the money's at these days.

Head's up is very tricky, I like it though.
Pot limit Omaha is a totally different animal.
It's a shitload of draws and redraws that can drive you nuts.
You got the nut Ace high flush after the turn street for instance it can still get beat on the river if the river card pairs the board.
If you bet pot from say middle position and the guy siting at the cutoff calls your bet and the guy on the button calls too well red flags should go off in your head that they could be repping full house draws and you hope they got the flush too.
If the river card doesn't pair the board then your Ace high nut flush is gold.
That's when I jam at the end, when the board doesn't pair, I'm careful with the flush before the river card though, and maybe min bet pre river.Last edited by stevenash; 06-11-21, 02:46 PM.Comment -
