Will be in Vegas for the weekend of 9/6, also coinciding with the first NFL Sunday. Haven't been since I was a kid so any tips would be much appreciated. Due to budget and availability, staying either at Bally's, Luxor, NY NY, or Harrah's. Any of those hotels better than others? Maybe some others I'm missing but not looking to spend $300+ per night.

Where is the best sportsbook (more interested in atmosphere) for 10AM Sunday morning when the season kicks off? Any buffets or food options that are must try?

Appreciate any tips, I know a lot of you guys have been many times. I'm sure there have been threads on this but searching 'vegas' doesn't give me too much.

The new rooms at palms are nice. Your girl will like the restaurants, clubs, pools and art. Off strip but you have 3 major books within crosswalks of each other. 3 apps w station, Caesar and Boyd books. Sign up for all of them and watch games at a local bar.

Earlier this year, really disappointed when I saw Texas station replace their ribs with crab legs. I hate them, the servers hate them, but for some reason they're popular.
