2010 SBR Bash Information

Never been to 1 so I don't know the quality of the stuff they offer (golf course, room type, food, etc.) but I'm thinking less than 50k. That's like a week worth of commissions from one of the big books so don't feel bad for them.

I'll try and work it out on the fly....

(roughly) 90x rooms @ $50 a room for 2 nights (probs get a discount)

36 spots @ a $100 a round golf course

$7k prize pool for poker

Meet n greet drinks/meal and drinks etc over the two days @ perhaps $2k

All the free bets they give away + getting Sbr staff there @ perhaps $3k at least

50 free travel @ $300 a pop = $15k

Yup cheme, i reckon 40-50k, how far off am i?

when you see the quality SBR provides. Renting ballrooms for events, ect.

Doorprizes where $50-100$ cash, sportsbook future tickets, ect.

I would not be suprised around 75k

Wouldn't be surprised if the amount is closer to $10k. I bet a lot of the bash attendees can put down 10+ drinks over the Friday ice breaker and the actual bash.

Probably still a bit low, dont forget the entertainment as well as the nice gift bags they put together!!

If i remember from last year, there were about 120 names down, but 80 odd people turned up. A lot will pull out from July onwards

My first bash as well and i'm glad i don't have to buy a plane ticket since it's a short drive from LA! Anyone have any info about the poker tournament that we are playing? LIke how much it's for?

Na lol, don't get a chance in Aberdeen with the weather in Scotland, absolutely freezing.

Hit a nice warm patch down in England this week so been out a fair bit. Thing that killed my game last year was the fast greens, not used to that over here. Really looking forward to the golf in Vegas

You need 100 posts to register for the bash, then you can reserve one of the remaining spots for the poker tournament. The 140 spots will go to SBRforum members that register via signup form, guests will be able to play if they show up the day of and there are open spots.

Are guest allowed to join in the events like the Golf tourny, poker tourny, and dinner? Or are those events only for the sbr posters?

Your guest can attend the dinner, just check 'will be bringing a guest' in the sign-up form.

As for the golf/poker tourney - guests will be able to play if they show up the day of and there are open spots.
