I used to fly out of Long Beach on JetBlue. It's a short 1 hour flight with TV to watch while you're waiting to take off and while in flight. I would then rent a car or just take cabs once in Vegas. It depends on whether you want to drive around a lot.

There are advantages to driving the 5 hours up to Vegas. You get to choose when you want to take off and you don't have to wait in airport lines. If you are driving back on Sunday you may wish to take off early as traffic out of Vegas can get quite bad later on Sunday.

I am already registered for the bash but I just found out a buddy will be out there at the same time.

Even though I did not register a guest, could he play in the poker tournament if he shows up with me on the day of and there are openings?

I'm really looking forward to this Bash. It's going to be a blast.

Requirements to register for the poker tourny and golf tourny if you are a poster. Like join date or number of posts. My buddy is new to the site and wants to go to the bash but he can't seem to register for the bash and events.

Two questions.
1) Can we use the VIP check in room or do we register at the front desk
to get our rooms?
2) Last year we had a contest were the winner received limo pick up at
the airport and a room up grade. Year before it was guess the number
of posters attending the bash. Both were fun contests. Is there going
to be something like this at the 2010 Bash?

My buddy on sbr got a conformation message in his sbr inbox. It says to confirm by july 24th. I did not get this message in my inbox. Should I be concerned? I only got the conformation in my e-mail.

1)Do we need to give information to you guys about our guests?

2)What information needs to match up, when we go to get our room and reimbursement for our flight. (also, where can I confirm I am going to receive these).

No but your guest will be required to wear a name tag to gain entry to Bash functions.
Just be sure to bring your travel voucher showing proof of purchase.
Reimbursements will be handed out at some point during the Bash.
Room reservations have been made with the Nugget, waiting for confirmation from them.

I have already bought the airline tickets to go this year and I am ready to go and have a good time. Let us know what activities that is planned by sending a sheet of what is planned here for Friday and Saturday.
