Happy new year to all you degens, I hope at least half of you lose your job this year so we can get back to printing money and into a fresh bull market

I have bought MMX SILV RPTX AVO DCO this week as I continue to prey for a global collapse of monumental proportions leading to severe energy, food and materials shortage.

last year I told you XLE would be the new QQQ and that’s what happened.

this year I will say XLB is the new XLE but still expect pockets of energy to outperform shytcoins

continuing to DCA on early growth opportunities GLBE CPNG STNE RPTX

I don’t see any change in rates until Q4 at least but assuming we go into the nuclear apocalypse before then we could see an early pivot at which point I will push the button, somehow I believe they find a way to suck and Fook us dry for 5-10 years

This guy has the right idea. I hate to say that the Fed rates ain't coming down unless unemployment shoots straight up. Materials and everything else that comes out of the ground are the areas I'm looking at, and even the South American spot on the globe is where I'm looking for growth opportunities. I don't have an opinion on South Korea other than to say I don't like the electronics area for this year.

Today's close is still the same old story, the markets are setting up for a bigger move one way or another. I think it will bust up on bad news tomorrow. The unemployment comes in a little hotter than expected and the market takes off because the FED will be forced to pivot and lower rates sooner than later.
Likewise, the unemployment comes in amazingly low for some reason and the markets tank because the FED will continue to tighten the screws until something breaks. I'm in the bull camp this evening, but at the the same time I started to load up on Puts that expire in March, and out of money currently ($365). I also have those short term SPY, QQQ, and especially IWM calls that expire tomorrow that I picked up about a half hour before the close. I know, I'm hedged in either way here, but it works out the best if we get a run up and then fall apart for me.

I would rather get the money right than the jobs prediction. I think the SPY will probably stick around the $389.60 spot or around the 50 DMA by the end of the day. Maybe $393.50 if the squeeze starts soon enough.

    heck of a move

ETCG is still ridiculously cheap... etc is $21, etcg holds about 85% of a unit, so it should trade at around $18 and instead it trades at $5

that discount is only warranted if there has been complete fraud about the underlying assets... which could be the case but it's very unlikely

Friday's ISM Services report reflected a big decline in services prices. These reductions will eventually show up in CPI data, maybe by Thursday's CPI report. If so it could be the catalyst Slurry is preparing for this week.

i own ETHE. the standard trust vs your ECTG classic trust.

on ETHE, i am down 75% and have not added to it.

my position cost is a small amount of my portfolio, <.50%.

i have not felt confident to add to the position the way i do on most of my stock positions that are down anywhere near that amount.

Bought merk at 80. Doing well. Still on Nio bought at sub 2. It was up to 44 but now 11. Tesla long time ago. Lost my ass watching it drop from 490 to 190. I originally bought below 100 because cousin works for. Loosing my arse and charge point.

Took a look at some of our beloved Sportsbook, Casino equipment and online software for betting.

GAN, not profitable but looks like a short term bottom that’s tradeable

IGT, this looks like it’s been accumulated over decade and wouldn’t be a bit surprised if it marks up

wow that's a blast from my past... i had a ton of that one from 4 to 40 on the nationwide expansion of casinos (also had SLOT)... those were probably the easiest stock winners i've ever had, total no-brainer

Yeah, the RIG was on the ropes before and now that price is shooting through the roof percentage wise.
Today is the last day before the economic dump tomorrow morning so I'm still looking up, but profit taking as a matter protection will happen sometime today.
SPY 393.50 is the high Monday, but a bounce up to the 200 DMA is more along the lines of possibilities

If it makes you feel any better, I got stopped out of MARA and RIOT circa 600 shares each at circa $4 per share 2 years ago. Still made a bunch but was crying quite a bit when both crossed $40 and I only had 100 or so shares.

most people (including me) hold the losers too long, and don't hold the winners long enough... on some level it's just numbers on a screen, like gambling, if it's not fun then just throw it all in 4% cds

maybe that "numbers on a screen" is my coping mechanism for losing more money in the past year than the net worth of every family in my subdivision combined
