Hey SpurtsMushroom, why do you follow sports? It's blatantly elitist. The best teams with the best players beat down the lesser teams. They get the trophies and win the championships which in turn gets them more fans and more money and better coaches.

The few players who make the most money make 50-100 times all those players with a base salary. I would venture to guess soccer is the same or worse. If we start talking about all those poor athletes playing in minor or lesser leagues compared to Lebron, Brady, and Ronaldo then we are getting close to 1000:1 pay ratios.

Not complaining about that specifically, but the bulk of the cuts are not going to those who need it. And the deficit is going to explode unnecessarily.
