She has been pressured into that lie because everyone in the world said she was a liar and requested somebody examine the handwriting to see if it was Moore's. Then all of a sudden she remembered it wasn't his writing. She had no choice to tell that insane lie because the heat was on her. This is not admitting forgery but just a lapse of memory.
