You sure about that? I'm quite sure I read that when this first came out she read the entire entry and attributed it to moore. It may sound nitpicky but including those last line's which she added lends much more credibility to her claims (an exact day and place). People have been kicked out of schools or lost their journalism careers over such things.Comment -

She said Moore wrote the date part at first. Then, only after the heat was on did she "remember" that she actually wrote that part. Not my opinion. Factual. You are suggesting that she never said Moore wrote the date part which is 100% false. Accusing someone else of misrepresenting the facts while you are the one guilty of it. Trouble is what she just said about that last line is credible and to any fair minded person it makes zero difference to the actual inscriptions existence. It really is just nit picking.
Honestly, I'm not sure a yearbook that suggests a 30 year old was hanging out with teen girls in the 1970's is that earth shattering in itself.
I am about the same age as the woman. In a time that almost encouraged creepers by not wanting to talk about it, I recall older guys in cars waiting outside school to pick up girls when we were 13 or 14 and no one thinking too much about it.
We could also walk into a pub and buy a beer by about 15 in those days too. Or place a bet, even at the govt run TAB. Laws were a lot more like guidelines than rules in those days.
With 20/20 hindsight he probably was a bit sus, but I don't see a lot of point in crucifying the guy now, based on 2017 standards. Unless he really committed some sort of crime the police would have investigated if they had known at the time..Comment -
The 1970s.
What separates Moore apart from most of the other accused "sexual predators" (ie, men being men - let's be frank, but I digress) that's been far too overlooked is marital status. Just about every one of them are married men (usually with children) at the time of alleged transgressions.
Moore got married decades ago and there's been no rumors following him everywhere he goes. These accusations aren't an open secret that "everybody" knew, ala Weinstein and Spacey.
Yet this counts for nothing in determining his character? Why?

When something supposedly happened 40 years ago and the only evidence is her word and a yearbook entry, her credibility is all you can attack. You have to admit, the fact that he ruled against her in a divorce, and that she would present this yearbook entry as evidence of such a heinous thing without saying she wrote part of it is pretty damning.Comment -
You are avoiding me on purpose. When she first came out she attributed the date part to Moore. Allred even said that it supported the timeline Nelson claimed. She never once said she wrote the date until the pressure to have it authenticated was at a boil. Then she miraculously "remembered" that she wrote the date part. So I am not fair minded because I don't believe that laughable explanation??? She got caught lying. Couldn't be more clear.
I have said numerous times that Moore is a retarded religious freak who I would never vote for. However, anyone that thinks there is one shred of evidence he is a pedo is far from fair minded.
