Anyone with a checkbook can write themselves 100 million dollar checks and not cash them

One thing that always stood out to me was the watches he was buying. I'm no horologist but I'm pretty sure the time pieces he buys are not the right kind to invest in. He just gets them because they are all decked out in jewels and gold.
