As it should be.. Still not good enough.. Refugees raise their kids how they were raised.. If the kids are then discriminated in public schools and isolated they then can be easily radicalized.. I don't like any of it.. It's very hard for Muslim refugees to assimilate and even their children to our free culture and laws..

I'd say to the refugees, how about going back to the home land and fighting and dying for your Country that you were born and raised in and love?

Look at history.. If Americans all ran from America because of civil wars and violence then there would be no America today.. Americans fought and died for their Country in civil wars and for Independence from England... World wars 1 and 2 as well. If we all just ran from the Nazi's we'd all be living under Hitler's rules today or dead..

Refugees are cowards especially the males of reasonable age.. I know that sounds ruthless in this day and age but that's how it's always been.

I would love for the world to live in peace and harmony but it's not gonna happen any time soon.. Religious differences and colors of race is the always gonna divide us to some extent especially when people are not educated fully in school and are desperate...

    My two cents...

I love Canada, especially Vancouver. Definitely the next best place I'd live (when it isn't snowing).

Vancouver has the highest percentage of beautiful woman I have seen anywhere. The average woman there is beautiful. Is the ratio of woman to men still very good? I haven't been back in over 15 years but wow the last time. I had a girlfriend from there and she warned me that the woman are very aggressive. One of her friends that was drop dead gorgeous tried to come on to me. We went by a strip area that has a lot of clubs and theaters and I was being hit on while holding her hand. WTH? She was rooster blocking the entire trip for sure. lol

Most people from Vancouver are very talented. You'll find musicians, actors, poet's, etc. You can have very good conversations with most people.

spot on. The biggest thing I have noticed each time I go back to visit my family is the amount of oriental people. I have many Chinese friends from before but now when I take the skytrain, its more than 50%. Just an observation. I could care less. Definitely a demographics shift.

its basically an zero vacancy rate now. Rent is insanely high and a shack that should be $80,000 or so, goes for a million +

That's the entire Left coast. The Bay area is basically China Town. What we see though is the best of the best from China. The poor and dumb can't come here. You have to have money to buy property and send your kids. Most people here think all Chinese are smart and hard working. That's because they don't see the other 97%.

You got the wrong end of the stick on that one Jibby, the refugee students choose to keep to themselves and stick with their own.Big problem a lot of schools are having in certain countries like Sweden and even Canada is adult males being registered as students because the refugees lie about their age to get into those countries and you guess what problems arise.

Well that's a completely different beast.. Needless to say each refugee costs the tax payer a boat load of money..

Here in the US on average each Syrian refugee we take in costs $64,000 out of our tax payer dollars.. That's crazy when you think about all the infrastructure repairs we need, healthcare problems, border wall, etc.

If I said most refugees are Christians, does that change your view? Would you be open to accepting them and denying Syrian refugees, or just none from anywhere? Not trying to hammer a point home, just curious.

Well I know Christians won't pose an Islamic radical threat like the Muslim refugees do.. Keep in mind one smart radicalized muslim refugee with the will to kill could do real damage.. I don't think we've ever seen one Christian refugee kill innocent civilians in the name of Jesus..

So yes I wouldn't have a problem with taking in any refugees outside the Muslim faith.. This means Jews, Christians, Buddhist, Hindu, etc..

I'd still prefer we keep refugees in camps til things settle down in their home lands.. Take care of our own here in the States with our tax dollars first and work on paying down our National debt and fixing our infrastructure and other things first to ensure a better American future for all of us.....

Fighting the Nazi's was not a popular reason to enter WW2.
