Match postponed. Kickoff tomorrow at 12:45 EST.
Borussia Dortmund's Champions League clash with Monaco has been called off after an incident involving the team bus. German police confirmed there were as many as three explosions near the vehicle at around 7pm.
Bild reports defender Marc Bartra was the individual injured after the incident and was taken to hospital, but is said to be ok. Dortmund reiterated the rest of the players are safe and there was no danger inside or around the stadium.
relieved that no one died or anything. this could've been bad and the intent is still there. it'll be interesting to watch this story unfold. if i had to take a wild guess, id say the belgians are behind it

What a bunch of pussies. It wasn't a bomb. It was just 3 big fire crackers to celebrate the arrival of the team bus by fans...but these days news is about who reports it first and they spread the fake news without verifiying...even the big networks.

According to the Borussia Dortmund CEO, Hans-Joachim Watzke, the three explosive devices were hidden in a nearby leafy hedge. “As [the bus with] the team has moved off from the hotel, the three explosive devices hidden in a verdant hedge were somehow detonated. The explosion particularly damaged the bus,” he told journalists at Dortmund’s stadium, where the quarterfinal match should have taken place, as reported by Focus.
Borussia confirmed that the person who was wounded in the explosion was the Dortmund player Marc Bartra who was hospitalized as a result.

Bartra will not play tomorrow , his arm is severely injured and he is undergoing surgery. Just hope he will be fine.
This could have ended much worse. This is not one of these incidents where away fans throw stones and firecrackers at the team bus.

German security sources said it was a targeted attack on the team bus, shattering one of the vehicle's windows. Police said "serious explosive devices" were used. A letter found near the site of the attack "takes responsibility for the act", a German prosecutor said. There were reports the devices, which were concealed in a hedge, could have detonated by a mobile phone or a garage door-opening device.
High levels of security were in place across the city on Tuesday night and there will be a large security force presence at Wednesday night's game, police said, adding they did not not want to jump to conclusions that the attack was terror-related
So how do we bet this gentlemen? I liked the over 3 but I don't know what to do now.
