IF every book that books hockey no longer had -135's, -125's etc.... there would be no more hockey books around cause they'd all be broke cause i would bankrupt each one of them. if a line in hockey is 5 ov -130.. then how will you make that line now if it's all -110???

if you make it ov 5-110, book will go broke

if you make it 5.5 un -110, book will go broke..

they have to have -140's, -130's etc, or they can't book hockey totals anymore..

do you have any idea how much a half a puck is worth when the total is 5????? you dont want to know.. JJgold, don't ever ever be a bookie..

Gets worse every year. They know how important the -3 is to some of us in the NFL and the juice on certain books has gotten ridiculous.

in the NFL, for most games priced in the range of PK to 3.5 in vegas and most offshore books... pinny has decided to stick with only offering PK, - 1( with crazy juice), or -3 (with crazy juice). other books starting to move towards this too now as we saw in the thursday night game in toronto. jets opend at 3 -110, and closed at -45 vig at some books.ridiculous

what about when 2 ace pitchers are pitching and the total is 7 un 30?? if you make it 7 -110, books will get destroyed when players bet un -110... if you make it 6.5 -110, books will get destroyed when players take over 6.5 -110...

there's a reason why they do this.. jimmy maybe books would make money off squares like you and JJ, but not your avg gambler.

this worked like this back in the 90's when every bookie carried -110 lines.. today, times have changed. with the amount of info and computers involved, a bookie cannot survive with only -110 lines. they would get smoked, esp on the 3 in the NFL, or MLB totals of 7.. forget about it..
