I have no idea what his actual IQ is. But regardless of that, it sounds like he's perfecting his art. And for me, that's every bit as important, if not more, that is "real IQ". Lebron has hit plenty of clutch shots but he can't hit 100% of them nor can he take 100% of them. Sometimes the opposing D can actually take a player out of a play. Especially when Pops is the coach. Other guys will have to step up.

Heat are done then. LeBron has to hit them in this series. If he wants to go back-to-back and beat a true NBA Finals foe with hall of fame players and coaches then he has to hit the big ones himself. Creating his own shot should not be a problem with his physical stats and abilities at this point in his career... gotta create, take... and make them. Parker did just that game 1.

Its pretty fkn hard for most players. Larry Bird can't put a sentence together but the guy could see things open up b4 they opened up. I do agree that smart black guys don't get the same credit. Duncan and Parker aren't high flyers but they get it done.

As for LeBron....its never smart when Bosh shoots as often as you do. His prob is...he wants to be Magic and not Jordan but he doesn't have Worthy, Jabbar, etc. Ralph Sampson was 7'4" and very athletic but wanted to be a guard. Till LeBron changes that...he'll never be smart on the court

It's just the sense or feel a player has for the game while playing in real time......being able to see things open up and make decisions on the fly before or better than the average player would....Basically instincts

Athleticism has as much to do with spatial awareness and predicting the future as vertical leap and wingspan.

It takes more brain power to crab dribble (like Jordan did, not LBJ) than people give credit.

I do know that white men tend to have trouble crediting blacks and women for being an intellectual superior. White men tend to get very defensive at the mention a black man is a genius or has a high basketball IQ.
