Lebrons IQ may be off the charts but his mid range jumper fukking sucks... Spurs dared him to shoot tonight.

Green's own words bout LBJ in this series...

"It is not just us stopping him," Green said. "He's kind of stopped himself out there and we're getting a little lucky."

      18... 17... 15...

didn't attempt a single FT for the first time this season... fukkn mental midget = LeBron vs real veteran lead teams in the Finals

Watch every Jordan playoff game. Do the same for Lebron.

Then come in here and spew your ridiculous nonsense.

jordan lit it up against the two best defenses in the HISTORY of the nba....bad boy pistons and the riley knicks

this is when he scored 63 on the celtics. it was a different game back then. just look at how they play defense.

jordan was good but the players are way more athletic now than before.

imagine lebron vs danny ainge. he'd put up 100.

all i'm saying is yeah detroit changed the way the teams played defense but they weren't as athletic as guys that are playing today.

dennis rodman said lebron would just be an average player back in the days. give me a fukking break.

You must have been a little baby in the 80's. You must have thought Jordan was hogging your momma's nipple because she wouldn't feed you at the games.

You really showed your ignorance with this post. Craig Ehlo was one of the best defenders in the league. Go do some research then come back and apologize. Ehlo shut down most SG's most nights. He also was a volume scorer that could put the ball in the hoop. It's very unfortunate that Ehlo is only shown getting shot on by Jordan BUT if you knew anything, you would know that Ehlo use to give the Bulls hell most nights. In fact, that night he had 26 points, playing on a bad ankle and was seconds away from bouncing the Bulls out of the playoffs, something few teams ever did.

Some people really need to have to study before posting...

you just proved my point. when craig ehlo is one of the best defenders at the time, it just tells you the type of athletes nba had back then. nba players were more savvy but less athletic. craig ehlo couldn't guard lebron.

Are you kidding me? Ehlo was a tall SG that was very quick and had hops. He was no scrub by any stretch. How many people on earth could have guarded Jordan? No one by themselves. Hell most teams would try to double and triple Jordan and he would still put up 40. Ehlo didn't have a lot of girth but he was good. I don't have the time but I'm sure you can youtube some of his highlights. I remember him blocking guys from behind like Lebron does. Ehlo could have been a SF with his height. He would absolutely shut these clowns down that are playing today.

You seem to think that players are better today than back then? I beg to differ. Guys today are horrible. Very few players today can make a mid range jump shot. Too many of them spend way too much time dunking the ball or jacking up 35 footers like they'll ever take those in a game. Players back then had much more heart, played with a much higher IQ and played better defense. Guys these days could care less if they win or lose, because they grew up where everyone gets a trophy. Kids these days don't go outside to play, they stay indoors on their game consoles or ipads to play. These guys today drop down dead if they play in the heat too long so they have rules on how long you can work them out. Today's athletes are a bunch of pampered babies with zero killer instinct. We're not sure who to bet on in a college bowl game because we never know if one team will be motivated to win the Rose Bowl. Give me a fukking break.

What happened to all the big men in the NBA? They've disappeared. You got guys like Hibbert today who couldn't even start on an NBA team 30 years ago. Look at guys like DWade who these other young guys try to be like. He spends more time wearing fake glasses and figuring out what ridiculous outfit he's going to wear instead of ever working on his jumpshot. Do you think any team could have backed off of an Ehlo and dared him to shoot a simple jumpshot? We're watching a bunch of pampered pooches who think they work hard but they aren't close to what the guys 30 years ago put in. This shit ain't even close and your questioning of it tells me that you weren't watching back then.

stop trying to defend ehlo, yeah players back then were more skilled and probably had higher "basketball iqs" but are you telling me people like ehlo or danny ainge could guard lebron? also i never said jordan was bad i just said he was a ball hog (and white players guarded him), just look at his shot attempts compared to lebron's. then you're gonna tell me "so what? he had a high shooting percentage." well why don't you look closer, jordan's shooting percentage goes down while lebron's goes up.

i never said players are better today than back then. all i said was players are more athletic today than back then. it's just a different game. both offense and defense is played differently. they certainly didn't play better defense back then. but when it comes to offense, there's lot more 1 on 1 nowadays partly due to jordan. i love basketball when everyone touches the ball, it makes players feel like they are part of the team. players were better shooters and had fundamental ideas of what team was about back then, but kids are bigger, stronger, faster nowadays.

like i said earlier, it's a different game. today's nba is more guard oriented. nba has evolved probably due to a lot of the 7 footers being drafted first flopping. also what is your deal with ehlo? i get it, you love the guy. and i agree, a lot of kids start getting star treatment as early as in jr. high. but just accept the fact that since these kids have better nutrition, workout programs, and gears they are physically better off than kids from back then. and basketball more than any other sport, you need athleticism to succeed. kind of ironic since this thread is about "basketball iq".

let me put it to you this way, i loved nba as a fan back then, now nba is just a business...

GK....without arguing about it, in the jordan era and before, players could get away with double and light triple teams that sagged the paint...defense on jordan was at a premium ... there was never just 1 player on him... they dont allow it these days, but it doesnt matter as Lebron shows he is nowhere near Jordans level when he is guarded by just 1 really good defender... hard to discuss this further if you dont understand the rules changes and the way Jordan was guarded

your opinion, of course...but keep in mind that as soon as jordan got the ball inside of 24ft, he was almost always dbl teamed and the driving lanes, where you see lebron get half his pts. , were non existent to jordan...he had to do so much more creating than any player today is even capable of.... Kobe is/was a much closer player to jordan than lebron because of his ability to create...

kobe, maybe some, yeah...jordan, nah, not really much of a ball hog, imo....

lebron will never have certain instincts that kobe and jordan had either... ive never seen a "best player ever" so scared to shoot, so ineffective when guarded by 1 good defender and get driven by and abused on defense by so many different sized players... sure, he is still young, but better officiating (hopefully it gets better) isnt going to help his cause in the future.

hope you are making some cash

Jordan averaged almost 6 assists a game in the playoffs.
