During back to school time and when football season starts, I always look forward to the never ending pasta bowl deal at the Olive Garden. Anyone else go when they have this?
Anyone going to hit Olive Garden for the never ending pasta bowl?

#7Yeah I eat at a few places like that in Boston sometimes, oiler. Need a change from it though - got to hit the more mass produced Olive Garden food once in a while. The salad and soup makes it worthwhile as well.Originally posted by oilernah i hate olive garden, that not the real pasta.u need to go to a real italian restaurant where they make there pasta from scratch and they give u so much food ,its like a never ending pasta bowlComment -

#9Still have not tried the Tuscani at Pizza Hut yet, oiler. Always been on my list but I do not live close enough to one that delivers.Originally posted by oileri find it funny that now pizza hut has pasta products that they tout as the real deal/which i would taste that if halle berry came with it...ok maybe if halle berry came with it lolComment -

#13My record there is 4 bowls, Beast. Have done that a few times when I've been hungry enough - and sometimes that was with meatballs or sausage included. The first bowl is large where the rest following that are smaller. Most of the time I'll have three bowls - sometimes only two if the sauces I get are more alfredo-ish as that fills you up more.Originally posted by Poker_BeastPasta is so filling, how much can you really eat?
Having the salad or soup along with breadsticks does a lot of filling up as well. For 8.95 and 1.95 extra for meat, it's all a lot of food and still one of the best values out there. I especially like going there for it a few hours after a big workout or the next day.Comment -

#16I get that a few times during the year also, Sam. Just had it about a month ago for lunch there. It's also a pretty good value and I like having three different soups or so. Works well when I am especially in the mood for something somewhat healthy and want a break from Subway.Originally posted by Sam OdomReload, I've had it, it is so-so. #18Yeah, Sam - the dressing alone has a pretty unique taste. One of the few restaurants left that still includes a solid salid with any meal. Have to give them credit for that.Originally posted by Sam OdomThey make a mean Salad Bowl for sure!Comment -

#20The Zuppa Toscana has always been my favorite as well, clone. Especially good to have with the pasta bowl in October when it starts getting colder out.Originally posted by clonecatI like their potato and sausage soup.

#27Morons who can't make a decent pasta dish shell out dollars for never ending pasta when all you need to do is go to the Midwest. In Illinois, especially Northern Illinois, you can get amazing pasta, almost anywhere. My buddy lived in Indiana for a time, and now lives in Iowa. He says he can't find any good Italian food anywhere. Seriously, I live in a town of 150,000 people (near Chicago) and there are 20 Italian restaurants that put Olive Garden to shame. If you go to Olive Garden for pasta you are a moron. Yes, my post started and ended with the word moron.Comment
