Middle of the pack for sure, not top ten.
I watched Murray and Wilson Sunday.
They were surgeons.
Then you have your Mahomes at the top of the list, and Josh Allen, and so on.Comment -

Red zone passing.
What QB gets it done when he and their team is knocking on heavens door inside the villain's 20 yard line.
These are the 2020 Red Zone numbers for every QB last season from inside the 20.
Cousins over Carr, hands down.
Cousins was good, Carr was ordinary last year.
This takes nothing away from Carr's drive last night.
Having said that, inside the 20, the most efficient TE is not Kelce, but Carr's buddy Waller.

#54I think I made the post when it was 14-0? Or around there. Carr is garbage. His checks at the line are horrible. Baltimore played like sh## as a team... And that Fred G. Sanford lookalike fumbled twice. Poor ball handling. Baltimore should of destroyed Vegas last night.
I can't wait to see Carr get pounded later in the year. Maybe he'll be a full time priest and retire?Comment -

#64I did a little of my geeky Nash analysis on Carr.
To be fair.
Carr was one of 12 QB's last season to have a QBR of over 70
11th (of all qualified) passers.
Considering the average QBR (which is the metric most respected analysts use to measure QB's) was 64 Carr's 71 is upper third.
Not that shabby.
As a sports analyst, in this case football analyst my next 'go to' numbers are interceptions and interception rate.
Don't care how good you are if you're going to turn the ball over via picks I'm going to knock your rating down, but INT's are factored in already in the aforementioned QBR, and Carr's INT and INT ratio are pretty good. (1.7 %) Better than Cousins, Wilson, Murray, and even Josh Allen and Tom Brady. But not better than Tannehill or Ben. Ben has one have the quickest releases of all QB's which makes him difficult to pick though, Tannehill strength is he's accurate.
Carr and Cousins had pretty much the same completion ratio but that's a misleading stat because of the dropped passes by would be receivers, a good QB gets it there, it's still up to the receiver to catch it.
I'll cut to the chase before I move on.
Carr is a better QB than I've given him credit for in the past after I broke everything done, on the same level as Cousins.
Both Cousins and Carr get a bad rap, so does Tannehill.
Tannehill, all thing considered is a better QB than the aforementioned two, and here's a shocker, Mahomes is the best QB in the NFL
Cousins red zone numbers are solid, and those who think Tannehill is garbage, look again, his pick percentage is in the elite class, his rating is close to elite, all his metrics are rock solid.
After I determined I wasn't giving Carr his fair due I wanted to know why.
Easy answer.
Darren Waller.
Some don't know how good a TE Waller is.
You have your Kelce, you have your Gronk and that's about it.
With all due respect to Andres and Kittle, they miss too much to much time to injury.
There's a reason why they call him George Brittle.
Riddle me this?
Who had the better TE season?
(The PFF analytics, the best of the best of them) say it's even, I say tiny edge to Kelce because of the better drop passed percentage)
There were only eight receivers that had 100 or more receptions, six were WR's
Rk Player Tm Age Pos G GS Tgt Rec Yds TD 1D YBC YBC/R YAC YAC/R ADOT BrkTkl Rec/Br Drop Drop% Int Rat 1 Darren Waller* LVR 28 TE 16 15 145 107 1196 9 69 624 5.8 572 5.3 7.8 7 15.3 4 2.8 3 110 1 Travis Kelce*+ KAN 31 TE 15 15 145 105 1416 11 79 829 7.9 587 5.6 8.5 10 10.5 2 1.4 3 119.8
(You want to talk underrated TE's, Logan Thomas)
Mahomes is the best in the business right now because he has God given talent AND he has one of the greatest TE's that ever played and an elite wide put at his disposal, Brady is the best that ever played for reasons I don't need to explain, Rodgers has Adams but Rodgers made a career out of hitting ancillary receivers too.
Riddle me this part two?
Does Waller (his primary receiver) make Carr.
Or does Carr make Waller?
Or is it an equal combinationComment -

Before my time but I'm an analyst, used to play baseball up through college (too small to consider pros on any level (nobody is interested in a 5' 7" catcher/DH) I study the game, I've read plenty about Stabler and his and the Raiders exploits.
