College upsets - who falls?

How about Louisiana Lafayette +9?
Opening week has been terrible for Texas. they were blown out by an avg Maryland team 2 years in a row until they smartened up and scheduled UTEP.

Top that? How about a San Jose St +15 ???
That's a pretty good football team. USC has the weapons/speed. But SJS is physical. Their 250lb RB is a wrecking ball.

Believe it or not it looks like Fl St will give Notre Dame all it can handle getting +7.5.
Let's just keep it simple and say ND is replacing everybody. LY against FSU, ND was #5 and ran off left tackle for a gazzilion yards. FST threw a late INT on their own 3 and the score ended 42-26.

SJU is no joke. Strong, good coaching, packed with multi year starters. What they lack is speed. SJU bettors have to sweat the short pass that ends up an 80 yd TD. If USC covers it will be because SJU can't cover the receivers, TE's and backs.

Flip side of that is this is no preseason walk in the park game for USC. If they come out a bit out of sync it's a good possibility SJ can keep them there.

I like LaTech to possibly upset MSU. A lot of their kids have played against the Mississippi state kids. A lot of experience on both teams are returning. MSU has the better overall players but LaTech is no push over. A lot of kids that couldn't qualify academically are on that team.

I wouldn't be so sure. OSU clearly has the better overall talent but they are breaking in a new QB and replacing a lot of guys on both sides of the ball. Minny's defense is pretty solid and they have a veteran Oline. I see this game as being extremely close dog fight to be honest.

I watched the Spring game for the Buckeyes. The QB's didn't look good. They have all the talent in the world at WR. The RB and QB are a tick off from what Old School Buckeye fans are used to fielding. The D is good. We got a frosh forget his name. We will know it by season's end. He was a beast in the Spring game. Wouldn't lay 14.

San Jose State +14 is a good wager against a USC team with a head coach who knows that a loss against any teams except @Notre Dame, @Arizona State or in Las Vegas against Oregon or Washington will cost him his job. They may try to run the clock out as much as possible to obtain wins.

Minnesota should keep their game against Ohio State close, for 3 quarters or so. Then Ohio State Pulls away. A lot of people are wagering the way that all LOSERS wager. They jump on the dogs and the points. Mac, I will tell you what I will do. Just for bragging rights, I will fade EVERY single one of those 7 games that you picked the dogs to cover. I think that no more than 3 will cover. I also think that no more than 3 are worth a wager.

Avg ML odds on those 7 would be 5-1. Get one to win, almost broke even. Two and could be a big night.
