I like Western Michigan today vs Michigan. WMich offense should be able to move the ball on the ground and in the air. Michigan's defense is still trash and the offense is still trying to find itself moving to more spread concepts. I think both teams will move the ball well but UM will have more success in the air and not much on the ground. They will be more one sided versus WMich balanced offense. That tells me that their offense may be easier to stop and could lead to more turnovers. WMich is a live dog this morning. +600 ML for me.

I'm thinking about Miami +700 over Alabama. Yeah, it's a long shot, but that's why they are +700. Bama lost 7 offensive players to the NFL and I'm sure they reloaded with some top quality players. But until we've seen them play, fading them at +700 seems like a decent play. Bama QB has very little experience (31 total snaps) and a new offensive coordinator. Miami QB D'Eriq King has multiple years of experience and they will be amped up to face off against 'Bama at home. It's not a pick you're going to win every week, but at +700, you don't have to. I already took Miami +19.5 and just debating sprinkling a bit on the moneyline.Comment -

I hit South Dakota State +120 last night. I'm on Temple +15, but I don't usually play huge MLs. They have a QB transfer from Georgia though that might be the best player on the field. Thats the plan anyway. Temple sucked last year, but went bowling 5 years in a row before that. They're a decent program normally. I guess Rutgers is getting alot of love because of Schiano.Comment -

OMB - is anyone watching this OU/Tulane game? Tulane is down by 12 points but Rattler just threw a horrible interception that would have set Tulane up for an easy score. The refs call a phantom pass interference on Tulane. WTF? The OU receiver pushed off on the Tulane defender and the pass was way off anyway. What a bullshit call that could have cost Tulane the game.
