Been involved in tons of Reds game, never saw him come through in a big spot. Takes the fastball right down the middle on the first pitch. Had 0 confidence that he would come through, and he proved me right.

Votto sees the ball very clearly right now and the pitchers keep dishing him meatballs to hit. They do not use the split finger anymore like they used to. Pitching fundamentals are not taught properly in new pitchers.
