Today I will talk about a little gem of a wager that I became aware of in the 2019-2020 Bowl Season. It is really quite simple. It involves no skills at all. Anyone can play this system, but my guess is that no one did. It is so simple that you do not even have to pick a team to win the game before the game starts. All you have to do is to pick the team that is ahead at halftime to win the game outright. It is that simple, yet the rewards are staggering. I played this system for the first time this season, because Covid-19 had screwed everything up so badly that I have really lost interest in the season early on.
In the 2020-2021 Bowl Season there were 25 Bowl games played. There was one game that was tied at half time, so n o wager was made on the outcome of that game. Of the remaining 24 games, 22 teams that were ahead at the half ended up winning. Of the two losers (Army and Cincinnati) both teams were underdogs going into the game and both teams led 14-10 at the half. The game was a Pick at half time. That means that a bettor who would have wagered to win $100.00 per game would have won $2000.00, or over 91% R.O.I.
Finding wagering angles that go unpublished and unnoticed by Joe Pub is the way that successful gamblers make big money. I am not saying that this little gem will come close to hitting at 90% rate next season, but give it a try. If you think about it, it makes sense.
