What can you anyone tell me about Sylvania?

Best reviews are on amazon. My pop has a 46 inch Dell...no problems but the VIZEO appears to be an affordable out IMO

Have a Samsung and know people with them that have not had any problems with them in the last 5 years (knock on wood) Sylvania is like betting a long shot for the entire year. IMO $699 in this case means crap and not a bargain! Think long term! I thought you had money bro? I thought it was a joke, but you really do go hunting around dumpsters?

I have an "OLEVIA" 47 inch LCD - never heard of the brand name before so I did some research and found out they use Samsung components, my TV got glowing reviews, and I'm very happy with the TV.

Here's one Fish that I bought over a year ago that was on sale for $1099 from $1249 at Best Buy that they offer still now! 40" model LN40B5500 for $934.99. Has 70,000 to 1 contrast, matted finish on screen which helps viewing from angles, paying hundreds more for for Hz to me is overrated and only drawback on this TV is speaker location alittle weak but not a biggie for me. Samsung is not the same low end TV maker company that people associate them with from many years ago! Good luck!
