I'm saying exactly what I said. He may get a starting job at Tampa after they unload Winston but that's probably it. Some say Chicago or Denver but he would be terrible in cold weather. Jones, Trubisky, Mayfield, Haskins, Darnold, Minshew and Allen (who is better than Newton on the Panthers) are on rookie contracts so are way cheaper than Newton. Why pay Newton 20-30 million for crap performance when you have a rookie playing for a fraction of that?

Dalton and Brissett are gone as well. Foals is better than Newton plus has long term contract that the Jags would have to payout big to cut him. Denver also has rookie contract, Chargers are drafting a QB who will also be on a rookie contract. The Dolphins are drafting a QB as well (probably Tua).

I stand by Tampa Bay being his only chance if Carolina doesn't sign him back. There are several QB's coming out in the draft that teams are much more interested in. Newton is a broken down QB who sucks in the pocket and is injury prone plus a glory hound worried more about the next peacock suit he will wear to his after game interview who hasn't been worth a damn since his Super Bowl season.

You listen too much to the sports media who insist he's a great QB when he is really garbage.
