At this point, I just try to get it in with big odds in my favor to win, and then see if the other guy gets donk-lucky or not! LOL That's all poker means to me after all this time.
But I just wanted to tell you about your comment calling me the "worst end game player" you have ever seen! LOL
Man I'm not putting this on the forum because I don't want to make people better at this 30 person format! And I don't want people copying my style!
But dude, you are probably right! Not that I am no good with only a few people left! That's stupid! Especially when all this bullshit is on SBR 30 person tourneys is going all in over and over if you make the final table!
But you are right about me folding in certain situations (DURING THE LAST QUALIFYING PERIOD!) when "equity" or "percentages" SCREAMED for me to put my last chips in the pot!
The reason is because it was a 90 day format to gain points to get into the final cash game!! NOTHING meant ANYTHING except getting enough points to qualify for the final cash game!
So HELL YES I might fold with 8 high and hardly any chips left, JUST so I could see if somebody else would get knocked out before me and I'd get 25 more points for finishing one spot higher!
I know good and well I did that in the qualifiers! BECAUSE THE GAMES WEREN'T ABOUT "EQUITY"!!!! IT WAS ALL ABOUT 90 DAYS WORTH OF TRYING TO ACCUMULATE POINTS!!!
So I'm not mad at you for noticing that bro! I'm just not going to get on the forum and tell everybody on the whole site what my strategy is/was in these things!
Because then they will start doing it!
I have to tell you this too! It worked out PERFECTLY for me in the cash game!
I was the SHORTEST stack when it got down to the final table/10 people.
But I looked and saw that I had to get AT LEAST 4th place to get cash instead of betpoints or poker points, so I fukkin folded my ass off OVER AND OVER!
LOL I swear I folded 66 and 88 and AQ and ALL kind of shit that others would have SNAP called all in with! Just because I didn't want to risk a 50 50 shot!!
And sure enough, they kept on going all in against each other with AJ or KQ or 77 all the way until SIX people had gone out in front of me! And I had guaranteed myself $200 cash! Then I got AA and a dude called with 99 and donked a 2% river card straight on me, or I might have won the whole thing!
So just to be clear, you were somewhat right about what I was doing, and it is a good eye by you to notice it! But I'm not "bad" or "the worst" at the final table! LOL
I wouldn't play that way if I was in ONE single tournament online!
You don't just have to hit the all in button every time just because "equity" says that you should!! Not if the format is trying to accumulate 3 months of points to qualify for the cash game!
I knew EXACTLY what I was doing in this particular format the whole 3 months!
And then I did it again in the final and I almost won the damn thing!
I guarantee you that the 200 (or more) EXTRA points that I got by playing that way during those 3 months was the only reason that I made it to the final.
But I ain't posting none of my strategy on the damn forum for everyone to see!
Or they will all start copying me!
