It was something, glad I woke up during yanks 5 run 8th. I expected yanks to tee off on twins pen, didn’t expect yanks pen to get torched too. Getting this one and San Fran made me have a pretty big night chasing bunch of 2-3-4 RRs!!! I’ll take it!!!

Yanks pen wasn’t really torched.. Just couldn’t throw a strike.. Chap and Ottavino 6 walks and no hits allowed.. When the Twins started swinging in the ninth with nobody out and them loaded I personally think they lost the game.. Was no reason to be swinging against Chapman who couldn’t find the plate.. Will gladly take it

Britten gave up a monster bomb before the walk parade. Just meant giving up runs anyways, doesn’t really matter how they do it, garbage none the less. Even worse when you give them up without other team even getting damn hit.

I was kinda surprised yanks pen tried so hard to give it back.

I know you know your team pal but I’d strongly suggest only playing them 1st 5 for the foreseeable future. Twinks always kinda been the AL team I root for so hope they make some moves at deadline and get some help for the pen.

Cards game interesting. Hard not to like them as dogs but the pen is taxed!! I think Hudson will be able to give them 7 strong tho. He just has to avoid walks. Even w ponce del Leon walking everyone last night (the umps k-zone was a joke to go along w his lack of control) pirates could still only muster 1 off him. Think they have a tougher time w Hudson’s heavy sinker, if he keeps it in the zone he should cruise and more importantly chew up some innings.,

Long as he can give cards 6+ they be fine, Meyers recalled so he fresh, brebbia threw 18 pitches last night but hadn’t pitched for a day or 2 prior so he should be good for a late inning. Gallegos didn’t pitch last night and neither did miller. Plenty of good arms to handle the late innings. Gant should be a go if Hudson isn’t able to make it thru 6 or more but I think he will.

Archer has been much better his last few starts but still far from dominate. 2 teams going opposite directions lately, give me the hot cardinals at plus money to continue closing the gap on scrubbies (who prob lose on the road again vs hottest team in baseball!).
