Nice to have big night like that, especially since it's been a tough first half of the season and all those 0-5 and 0-6 days.

Second half started tough too, though. Since the all star break the public has been cleaning up.

Until last night, which was a huge contrarian night, Fund or not. It's probably why so many plays triggered. Hope it continues and it could get volatile. Last year, up +11 units, one weekend saw an 0-6 and 0-5 run, so you never know. It sure looks like things are turning though.

Travelers was good, sorry to see it cancelled...I think the writing could always just continue the story. They even left it open for more, but then it was cancelled.

Started watching foreign ones. Watched "The Rain" but honestly lost interest and just didn't watch the most recent season.

Also watched "Dark" which was cool. Some time went by and a new season came out. Because of the twists of the show, and all the chronic that I've gone through, I feel like I have to watch from the beginning again, before hitting the new season.

So I watched the black hole show which told us nothing new, lol.

ncaa data crazy, I've bitched about how there are so many teams for a couple of years now...breaking it down helps, conference is important but don't forget the regions.

Today's supposed to be a day off of percs, but I just don't know. Hurting.



So much more to the down days than just snoop and two big baggies, I downplayed just how bad it does get.

Thing about those sci fi shows anymore is that all rules are off. Characters can die, anything can happen really, because they can just write in time travel or whatever and undo it all...lol.

To think, that Philly moneyline almost triggered in the Fund as well.

Here's the Contrarian Fund so far this year.

The chart is still relative but if you count the couple of plays missed (including the Tex +230 earlier in the season) much of the chart could be adjusted so that the bottom of 23 could be more like 20, the recent double bounce more like 10 and the current units more like even.

Either way, it's still relative...



Notice we are coming off a double bounce of about 12 here. That's a good sign and given it can be a season of halves, perhaps the idea of bouncing off -20 again is put off for a while.

We could be seeing the market turn for the season, it's something I've been anticipating and the rate at which the public was winning post all star break was really bringing it to a head.

There can be volatility but hopefully we, at the worst, go a bit sideways here.

Time to break down a teams performance against the market and see how it behaves in past years.

What do we consider extreme heat? Humidity matters too. I have data. Will break some of this down but I can say that Totals have been affected as heat went up. Looking at 85-100 degree temps.

Closed domes are always 72 degrees.
