I haven't encountered that deep south stereotype in Indiana. Indiana changes a lot from south of US 30 south of Merrillville and Valparaiso, and US 31 south of South Bend though.

Stlll hearing that Hollywood in Lawrenceburg is scheduled to open up shop September 1, but can't find anything really supporting that.

Ya, some guys are clueless. I will continue to play offshore, but the name of the game is having as many outs as possible. I can guarantee you 100% that in 3 weeks when Hollywood opens their casino, I will find prices better there then I will on 5d, Heritage or any of the other top offshore books. And getting paid on the spot, rather then trying to run up a balance, request a payout, pay fees and go through all the nonsense.....there is a value to this gentlemen.

August 28th is the meeting with the Indiana Gaming Commission for the casinos/OTB's to get the green light for a go on September 1st. Lots of hoops need to be jumped through and Hammond Horseshoe has a September 4th date posted as accepting their first bet upon approval on the 28th. My source at Indiana Grand in Shelbyville said they are pushing real hard but it might be more like October before they start accepting wagers at their windows and definitely early 2020 before mobile goes into place.

Thanks! Keep us updated if you hear more, as I'm having a difficult time finding info. Not being ready to roll for week 1 would be a pretty bad miss.

At French Lick for the weekend and heard thru some dealers and Pit peeps that FL Resort and Casino will be using DraftKings for the sports betting.

Kiosks and app...and a in-person counter by the main casino bar.

Yes, but for me (personal preference), it will be a wash as it is a pain in the ass to deal with bitcoin. I'll still keep small balance and play offshore, but will mostly play local and legally in the great Hoosier state!
