Rough night for the thread. I had the Leafs race to three goals which hit and tailed doubledime on his total thread which is money, Kings/Habs under 5.5 last night.

I know last nite I had Minny u6. With 30 secs left score Chicago 3- Minny 2. Minny had committed a penalty and were short handed. They scored a shorthanded goal with 23 secs left. Smh. 3-3. That was a pretty stiff bad beat.

I’ve never been able to figure out if there were numbers you could use to cap hockey/quantify them into a line?? Never been one to like betting by simply watching games using the eye test. It a factor for me but much prefer having numbers to back up my opinion. My favorite games are those where I can find numbers that contradict popular eye test opinions.

Consequently ncaa hoops and mlb are my favorite sports to bet/cap because I feel I can look at certain stats/numbers and be pretty confident making a line without ever seeing a play by a given team. With ncaa hoops I feel I’m actually better off not seeing many games as more I see the more my eye test biases come into play! lol.

Would love for someone who caps hockey to chime in and point me to some meaningful stats/numbers that relevant to making a line! I don’t mean w/l records or any nonsense a 3rd grader could tell me either!! Lol

i think 20 pt line movements in hockey are pretty sharp. i always pay attention to those if i like the side anyways. i think the sharps crush hockey and really know things when the line moves.

They have been, don't play till Thursday against the Yotes who have been opposite, 12 goals total ini 4 games. Chicago had 13 in one game. Should be interesting to see how they set the total.

Epic comeback by the Oil, three goal comeback in the third and OT winner. Yotes kept it close, but despite raking up lots of shots can't find the scoring touch. On the season goals on 178 shots in 5 games, 2.24% with NHL average usually around 9.
