Parlaying anything in hockey, let alone the three biggest favorites in any night, this early in the season, will likely not end well

To handicap hockey You really have to follow it and in Canada give much better coverage

Had sportsbettorswin in hockey last year. Lights out in hockey no question about it. They did suck in baseball however.

A Real good friend of mine. He lives in Vegas half the year and in Canada the other half. He is killing it early.
He doesn’t post to many threads. He does post randomly.

I’ve never been able to figure out if there were numbers you could use to cap hockey/quantify them into a line?? Never been one to like betting by simply watching games using the eye test. It a factor for me but much prefer having numbers to back up my opinion. My favorite games are those where I can find numbers that contradict popular eye test opinions.
Consequently ncaa hoops and mlb are my favorite sports to bet/cap because I feel I can look at certain stats/numbers and be pretty confident making a line without ever seeing a play by a given team. With ncaa hoops I feel I’m actually better off not seeing many games as more I see the more my eye test biases come into play! lol.
Would love for someone who caps hockey to chime in and point me to some meaningful stats/numbers that relevant to making a line! I don’t mean w/l records or any nonsense a 3rd grader could tell me either!! Lol

Generally agree. Took the Flyers game and the Capitals game both over 6 last night in a parlay. Flyers covered early, and the Caps game was going slowly for a bit, only three goals after two periods. Ended up hedging with an under bet so make sure I didn't outright lose. Covered at the very end.
Sadly, I took Anaheim down 2-1, they tied 2-2, were favored again, and I fell asleep during the second intermission and never got a chance to work both sides. Then they lost in shootout. Oh well. (Their game was an under, but I didn't do anything with that).

If you bet hockey and I do. Totals is really the only value. Some guys can get creative by teasing and other prop bets.

I agree, nothing wrong with any win. I'm just trying to build gradually, and be smart about it.
And being new to NHL betting, totals does seem like the way to go, at least for now.
