#77bro danny green pretty much sucks these days and has for the last 4 or 5 years, used to be automatic from 3 now he misses quite a bit of those he did shoot 37% last 2 years, 33% year before that but used to about 42% consistently, he's slower now too, never was quick or anything just a 3 pt specialist.Comment -

#78Yea I’m sure that had a lot to do with it, makes sense that they would flip him for draft picks before the deadline. Other teams were offering picks but not so much the players spurs wanted, I’d think raptors would be more than happy to get the package of picks they wouldn’t have been able to get for derozen.Comment -

#79Shots won't come as easy as they did in pop's system back in San Anton but he'll have more volume than before
24 and 8 with 3 and 3 in the blocks and steals dept. Dips in his shooting percentages. Dpoy front runner as usual should be about parComment -

#82Seriously doubt they can sign him long term
Hes from LA and seems like he’s motivated to get there eventually
Spurs did alright for a disgruntled Kawhi with only 1 year left who refuses to sign long term with anyone but LA
Bottom line is they really fukked up last season and did OK to salvage somethingComment -

#83Outstanding move by the Raptors!!! Getting Kawhi while giving up no 1st's (they arent finishing outside top 10 this year) and keeping their biggest assets in OG and Siakam is a HEIST!
Its not every day you get the opportunity to secure a top 5 player, the Raptors have never had one before. Now in a playoff series in the East, you can legitmately say no matter who they play that they have the best player.
This team was getting blown up in 2 years anyhow........so give me 1 year with Kawhi to knock off Boston and Philly, then Demar likely losing twice more in the 2nd round to Boston and Philly.
Raptors have made out like bandits here......Boston and Philly can't be thrilled.Comment -

#84Ok but there absolutely no reason to think he has any interest being in Toronto. They gonna flip him for picks me thinks, they dumped derozen contract, they will be able to get better picks for him than they would have derozen. Looks like craptors looking for total rebuild imo.Comment -

Raptors are likely the favorites to win the East now, not really the time to be starting a re-build.Comment -

#87Maybe, maybe not. I’m sure if there a team that feels adding him could help them in a playoff run they might be willing to deal draft picks. From what I had heard seems teams were willing to give spurs picks but they wanted nba ready talent. Craptors prob be happy with picks.Comment -

#90OK, favorites might be a bit of a stretch, but whatever the odds are, I'm sure they will get lower and lower over the next few months.
If you like the Raps to win the East, I would put your money down right now.Comment -

#91Guys.....Kawhi doesnt want to be anywhere except LA......thats the only place.
San Antonio 1) wanted a proven 20 PPG scorer and 2) not going to deal Kawhi to a rival to make LA stronger, and themselves weaker.
Even if 2 isn't true, what 20 PPG scorer do the Lakers have to trade to San Antonio?Comment -

#93Not many players do, Toronto isn't a bad city though for nightlife, you'd think they'd get more young guys wanting to stay.Comment -

#94There's just a lot of "if" with Leonard. If he's truly healthy he's a top 5 player, but I'm not so sure that his condition will end up being chronic and re-surface later. He's going to have to prove himself this season to show he's motivated and healthy. If he isn't playing to expectations, or stay healthy or pulls a similar stunt and nurses injuries, then why would either LA team sign him to top money or at all. Why throw big money at him when he doesn't want to play anywhere else, what's the incentive to pay more, especially if he doesn't ball out this season?Comment -

#99The Raptors can offer Leonard a contract worth up to $190 million next summer, and he’ll have to take a significant pay cut (nearly $50 million) if he chooses to leave and sign elsewhere. 🙄Comment -
