Craptors needed to get to the finals, especially this yr with the weakest the east has ever been

It doesn't matter of its 59,69 or 79 wins. Means absolutely nothing if they can't win when it matters as they have clearly demonstrated

Chris Paul negotiated this contract for the players - Leonard qualify for the super max from San Antonio because he made the All nba team - it’s design so that players don’t leave there original team - 5 years 219 million - but the minute he’s traded? That’s off the table -

Blowing up the craptors was the practical and necessary thing to do

Just about everything broke right and perfectly for them last yr and I mean EVERYTHING and they didn't even come close

they can offer Leonard next summer more thank the Lakers or anyone else.

IF HE PLAYS at all this year--he was a Raptor for a minute. He is LA bound for sure. KL isn't that concerned abt max contract etc. Different cat. He has enuff money, now looking for peace of mind an solid team

I like this, two headed monster of derozan and leonard. hopefully leonard gets back to full strength. now Id find try to get rid of lowry. dont know why james went to l.a. aint no chips coming thru there before he retires.

Raptors were already a legit playoff team.. Safe to say Leonard is a better two way player then Derozen. Raptors will be a better team next year..

It's a damn shame the Raptors will only have Leonard for one year though.. He's gone in free agency after next year.. He even stated that he has no desire to play for the Raptors..

Feel bad for Derozen as he just went to a team that will be very hard pressed to make the playoffs now..

Hopefully he'll be professional though next year.. We'll see??? I do think he will protect his body for free agency and really nurse injuries as they happen.. It would be smart for him to do that.. You don't want to have lingering injures going into free agency next year.. Then again you do want to have inflated numbers which he could have playing in Toronto...

Great trade for the Raptors. Even if they only get Kawhi for a year, they unload that loser Derozan. They were never going to win anything with him. Raps win regardless if Kawhi leaves or stays in Toronto.
