Public Storage leading the group lower. They have all had a pretty good run. The tax law is good for them and not a terrible idea to nibble. Not on Public Storage though. Guys like STWD paying 8.7% will be fine.

I'm not sure as of now what's going on but the Real Estate sector is down broadly, but it doesn't seem like too much.

PSA off quite a bit yesterday but it shouldn't bleed over too much for any lasting effect.

Some parts of the sector turning positive as I made the screen. No stock listed here, but I can breakdown any category into it's components.

Clearly there was nibbling. In my opinion there were plenty of buyers into the selling, plenty. It's trying to knock upward to it's next support/resistance.

Straddles and strangles coming in the Total Return fund, and yeah, maybe we some some more balls with naked trades in there too, when the time is right.

I'm not the master, but technically this looks like a decent time to buy and if it were to fall back about 10% from here, the safety of the dividend at this point, you'd be at a really strong, in my opinion, point of support.

Been climbing to a 52 week high, just off, and recovered well from the dividend ex date hangover. Not sure why investors bailed right before that, with volume. Maybe they were selling into what they thought would be dividend buyers but overwhelmed those buyers.

I said NRZ is a dog? I might of said it is a little over leveraged but I've owned it before. I'm a long time holder of AGNC who pays .185 a month. Hedged out with calls it's a 20% guy.

STWD is a much more diversified and conservative play. You can put that one in the drawer.

PSA is simply over priced. It's a top holding of a gazillion ETF's. I sold it $200 ago LOL...damit.. but seriously, if it fell 25% I still wouldn't be a buyer. 50% I would.

AGNC and NLY are great businesses as is NRZ. But don't buy them to trade. They are drawer stocks. Like bonds. AGNC is a $19 stock that has paid out $35 in dividends since it started in 1990ish. And don't overload. They pay 11% for a reason.

not trying to start crap with you but that is on YOU. the other day when NFLX took a dump, a very sharp buddy of mine thought I should let it bleed for another day or two before I scooped up anymore in an effort to lower my Basis, but my instincts told me to buy more when it was down 13%. I followed my buddy's advice and waited, but the stock bounced back within an hour so I lost the value and had to sit.

That was on ME.

anyone can give advice, but as sharp as Roy is and my buddy is, at the end of the day they do not hit 100% (nobody does) so it's up to YOU to make the decisions yourself.

Have to be careful with these high dividend stocks. They pay 11% for a reason.

Still, everyone should have some or at least some ETF exposure. I was buying ETP on the way down and it pays 11%. It’s a real business whereas those mortgage plays are leveraging interest rates. One closed fund that has ETP is JMF, it pays 9.5% and is a tad safer.

If if you buy these plan to hold them for 10 years. No one can predict rates.

XLC tracks the new communications sector..Check it's holdings, a lot of the big guys, FB, NFLX, GOOG, etc will be taken out.

There will be changes but point is there is going to be a new sector for communication. Not really sure all the details but am getting info on calls a few times a week.

I think the sector will be formed in October.

It's got to be some kind of manipulation, but it could be an error.

These things happen, money evaporated, then comes back.

Seems like so much stock out there for someone to mess with the price like that, so it seems shady.

homie for what it is worth. he asked me when he said nrz was a dog. I repeated what he told me. Now this was in another stock group when I was asking maclyfe what he thought. He gave his advice without my asking him. I also said i didn't pull the trade. By not pulling the trade. the stock he USED to OWN and the stock i STILL own went from 13.12 to 18.42 a share and i have had 6.50 of dividends a share gain in this time. Before you decide to play SAVE A HOE please read what was written. Roy and i always battle and i was giving him shit.
