I have no prob valuating based on tariffs and doing some selling. Where there will be stalls there will also be pick ups. Those imports hit with tariffs will lose market share in our market.

"The thing is if you check out Tesla Motor Car forums, all those tent cars they rolled out are literally missing parts, panel gaps, dusty, hardware issues, drivetrain issues, charging issues...on brand new vehicles. Don’t know, man. If I knew that I would have a lot more money than I do.

I think the market still has room to run if the economy doesn’t slow down. I think the GOP knows that it will cost them if the economy slows down. So buying tech on dips is probably wise for the short term investor like yourself. But I can’t say for sure because Trump said it was fine to start a trade war because the stock market has done so well and he is “playing with the bank’s money”.

The last few weeks have been building a case for things to slow down sooner than I thought. Flattening yield curve, copper, etc. I am less confident now than I was a month ago, I will say that.

My last post was just saying they are officially in correction territory (10% down from highs)

Copper is a belweather for industrials. Orders are down as a result of uncertainty around trade.

AAPL is a solid play but everyone is subject broader sell offs.

I am Not able to handle the short term volatility. Just don't have the time or temperament to do the daily/weekly/monthly trading. at least i realize it now.

am taking the advice of many who are more seasoned than I am, and looking at Index funds now but don't want to buy until what i believe is a far enough correction and then i'll take the small gains on the rebound, if i can get them. i am not greedy as 4-7% will honestly make me very happy
