In the Blockchain app, when you send, tap the fee box and it gives you an option where you can select how many satoshis/byte you want to include as a fee. However, be careful if you don't know what you're doing as you can either overpay or send too little and have your transaction stuck.

Well sorry if I have missed that. I do tend to be working when playing poker so often dont read the chat :\ I answer all my PMs though (eventually)
Most people making a complaint like yours are complaining of the opposite usually. Coinbase costing too much.
Blockchain.info have zero fees for anything. But next time you send look under the tx box for the fees slider. They have a low, normal, priority setting there for he miner fees. But honestly, unless this was months ago, 8 bucks is rather cheap for a miner fee anyway, dont try to make them too low or you will end up waiting days.
The biggest reason you see differences in miner fees is the network demand at the moment you send, it's not the actual wallet... although in Coinbase's case, you have no choice, they select the optimum miner fee, which is often higher than some people would choose themselves. They do this to ensure timely confirmation of all transfers sent out.
Thank you both for your help. I'm super late to the game but i'll keep an eye out. It's interesting. Hopefully in the future Monay Gram or W Union accept bitcoin so I can send money back home.

thank god there is BitcoinCash. Basically no fees, reliable and fast transactions. I m extremely annoyed with the Core team for having me made pay a couple of hundred $ in fees for promoting their digital gold and store-of-value nonsense and so should you.
It will soon come to almost any sportsbook to hopefully replace high-fee-coin. If BitcoinCash is not available consider Ethereum.

Yesterday I withdrew 0.15 BTC from Nitrogen Sports and sent it to an Electrum wallet. There were no fees on either side. My balance at Nitrogen was reduced by 0.150000, while my balance on Electrum increased by exactly 0.150000 BTC's.

Is it possible to get data on how much bitcoin is mined daily? Is the volatility correlated to the volume. I still think a transfer system without an immediate fil is garbage?
