Only option is to hold and wait for August... The Alphabay scandal rocked bitcoin hard and got everyone running scared, but bitcoin should recover. Just not well understood at the moment... No point in dumping and regretting when there's no blockchain split and price soars over $3000 inevitably pumping up the rest of the market. Thinking of buying some coin dirt cheap to test my theory

why ether? I thought it was kind of a supporting thing. Litecoin could stand on it's own and surpass bit someday is the way i understand it. Was still in the teens when offered at coinbase initially.

There was no scandal at alphabay, it was not a exit scam like many of the other dark markets turn into. The Feds and some other international agencies shut them down, and busted a couple of the main operators, one in Canada and one in Thailand. Im sure this has alot of other BTC holders pulling coins from all the other dark web sites. Then the Feds using a John Doe summons to get names and banking info of up to 500,000 account holders from coinbase, surely isnt helping any, lots of reasons at the moment to be out of all coins,JMO

the whole space is going above ground because the governments and banks demand it.

Several posts in this forum begged for people to buy when BTC was $400, Eth was $15 and LT was $5.
and now some are complaining...

Buy the dips and sell the highs. This isn't rocket science. Crypts like securities can't always go up. They are going to take a pause. BTC will eventually be $10k. Wait for things to settle then buy back in. If you are a nervous investor, take profits and let it ride with other people's money.

Never got in on bitcoin because I'm just not tech savvy at all. A lot of people killed it though. Good for them. I have a few gold and silver coins that my grandpa gave me when I was a young lad. Hoping to see the metals shoot up soon

lol it is impossible ... jumped into litecoin doubled put a bit into eth and lost in a few ways fees for one, because of jumping in and out (glad I jumped back out because it tanked, reason two) but wasn't trying to trade haha trying to invest in a decent product that will see growth and revenue.. eth spooky to many if's but i guess now would be the time to look into getting into it if you missed the last bus... idk though, im out looking in as you say .. price could keep tanking.

there are people that predicted this big drop though...

i bought some at 380 and again at 207. We will be fine around christmas time. Bought lite coin in the 20's. Was hoping it would hit 30 so i could buy more but 35was the lowest i seen

I know eh,need to be in the know to make the killings some of these guys do,you seem to have a good idea what youre after though,picking up more valuable info the longer you invest.

Gotta tell you mate that buying and selling commodities would be to stressful for me,I decided just to buy some Long Term stock,only thing is since its an American Company I cant reinvest the dividends and add more stock.
