I will say without looking at the charts the late August to October time period has been historically strong. Could well be coincidence. But guys in this racket should probably maintain a moderate position until fall imo.

Once you get into BTC I think that is the approach to take. Using bitcoins is going to be more stressful than betting every weekend. I'll ride into the football season, but I'm out as soon as the season is over. I don't need this stress in addition to betting the games too. It's like choosing between a heart attack and a stroke. Neither is good. High risk high reward is not my lifestyle

Bitcoin is going to be just fine. Building support in the $7500 range. If you told anybody 2 years ago that BC would be trading $7600 on 3/18/18 they would buy all they can.

I guarantee you will sell whateva coins you have now as a loss... and then be in total regret within a year. You are not cut out for investing.
