A lot of the surfers talk about the angle of "local knowledge."

If a guy has surfed an area quite a bit, he has knowledge of how those waves behave.

Everybody is putting JJ as the fav, but Medina is always a strong contender.

But we have to watch out Kelly for his final season and a final shot at a title, old man is still strong

Jordy Smith and Fanno would be the other two I'm gonna watch closely

Looking at the rookies early rounds at big money hopefully, really soft lines in surfing for those that think it's a joke (favs are heavily juiced no matter the conditions).

Snapper is smoking right now hopefully the comp gets some waves, current swell will be gone by then. We're getting a nice little swell here at the moment looking forward to the weekend! Hope you're getting some Surfjack.

I lived in Hawaii for 2 years. Surfers some of the coolest guys. How great would it be to live the life, doing exactly what u want to do.

SJack + ManOfBase, check the SBR archives. Some poster listed weekly plays a few years back. I know he cleared a nice profit, did pretty well.

As for the sharpness of lines, I can't imagine they're too sharp. I'd imagine they're beatable, but maybe not at huge limits.
