The American consumers who will be paying 50% more for things like coffee, sugar and vegetables because it's still cheaper to produce in Mexico and pass the buck to the retail level. If the imported prices get too high then American business will then begin to create that same product for cheap here in America. Will be great for American manufacturing growth in the end.. Keep it in house, make it in house, grow it in house, sell it in house...

It's not rocket science.. If there is a market for something that market will be filled here in America....

Let's take Mexican beer for example.. Mexican beers are cheap right now compared to other imported beers.. Corona beers may begin to cost as much or the same as Europe imported beer after this import tax takes hold...

Maybe Americans will then stop buying and drinking Corona beers and look to other American made beers.. Or maybe the Corona beer company will have to take a hit and lower their prices... Maybe beer manufactures here in America will make a Corona knock off beer that tastes the same... The options are endless.

It always works itself out.. I love the 20% Mexican import tax.. American products get hit that much when trying to export our products into other Countries so why not get a little payback now.. Put the shoe on the other foot so to speak for once..

Yes we are trying to get universal health care but it's literally impossible to obtain right now.. The way the system is set up now can't allow universal health care in America.. It can't even allow Obamacare to continue unless premiums are jacked 25%... Doctor pay is to high in America and so is hospital stay for starters..

Heath care is a mess here in America I admit that and I'm not sure Obamacare, Trumpcare or any kind of care can fix it.. Canada has free healthcare but it's crap, waiting lists, etc... It's not all roses D2 and America has a long way to go in that department...

From my perspective, Obama was the best foreigns relations president we've ever had. I thought he showed great respect to countries that were poorer than us, much like you or I would treat a janitor, and I also thought he showed great restraint in how he dealt with Mexico, Russia, China etc.... I think the easy way out is to get emotional and act on impulse or as I see it, be the bully.
But I understand we see things differently and I also can't say America is in the best spot it's ever been nor is the world in great shape. I understand the want for change, and even the need, I just don't' like the way Trump is going about it.
Hopefully though your boy does it in a respectful way. Its easy to be disrespectful and abuse power when you have the might of the US Military and economy behind you, but that doesn't mean he has to be a dick to poor countries.

Is Trump going to fabricate a national emergency or being at war? Otherwise, it's Congress that is supposed to impose tarriffs. But for the imperial president, congress will not even be a nuisance. It's going to be a neverending power battle as Trump tries to act like King.
